confetti.uk.com: Open Days for New Foundation Degree in Games Technology
East Midlands Gamers now have the opportunity to turn their passion into a career, thanks to the launch of a brand new Foundation Degree in Games Technology.
Based at Confetti in Nottingham, one of the UK’s leading creative technology centres, the 2-year Games Technology course offers learners the chance to work closely with professional games companies, work on real commercial products using industry-standard hardware and software, as well creating their own games.
“Games Technology is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK and this course has been designed to prepare students for a whole range of careers within the industry,” explains Alison Gregson, Confetti’s Higher Education Manager.
Alison continues, “Once successfully completing their Foundation Degree, our students can take up a place on the honours degree programme at De Montfort University – giving them the chance to gain a BSc in just one more year of study.”
For anyone interested in learning more about the Games Technology Foundation Degree, Confetti is holding two open days:
- Tuesday 17 May – 10am until 1pm
- Tuesday 7 June – 10am until 1pm
Attendees will be able to meet the tutors, tour the studios and facilities and participate in live demonstrations.
