Navmii today announces a new navigation application for iPhone and iPad: Navmii GPS Live for the UK. At only £2.99 from the iTunes store, this app is a fraction of the cost of traditional sat nav units.

Navmii GPS Live works just like an in car satellite navigation system: you can search for an address by city, street or postcode and get instantly routed there with voiced directions. Navmii will re-route if you take a wrong turn and provides information on the journey distance, estimated time of arrival and points of interest. The only difference between Navmii GPS Live and an in car unit, is that Navmii lives on your iPhone or iPad – and it is much better value for money!
