UK cadet programme now open for applications

The search for our next cohort of UK cadets starts today (Wednesday 10 October) with the first in a series of recruitment fairs being held at Fleetwood Nautical College in Blackpool (13:00 to 17:00).

Globally we have over 1,100 cadets undergoing training at all stages of cadetship and it plays an important part in our commitment to career development.

During training, the focus is on developing skills, knowledge and competence to enable our cadets to progress to become future officers. Training is completed during both seagoing service and within maritime colleges and academies with officers onboard playing an active role in their development.

To find out more about the UK programme and entry requirements please visit our website or attend one of the recruitment fairs. The next recruitment fair will be in Glasgow on 19 November at the City of Glasgow College with events also planned for Warsash Maritime Academy on 27 January 2017 and South Shields Marine School on 4 February 2017.
