Top marks for V.Group's UK cadet programme

V.Group’s UK cadet programme successfully achieved a high level performance rating in the annual Maritime Coastguard Agency audit conducted by MaTSU an independent unit of AEA Technology plc.

The one-day audit ensures funding provided to maritime training providers is being used to develop high quality trainee officers who are following an approved Certificate of Competency course. Ratings are given as low, medium or high, with high being the best.

Andy Cook, V.Group’s global crew operations director said: “The result of this audit demonstrates the excellent efforts of our team in delivering a high quality cadet programme and we’re all very proud of this recognition by the Maritime Coastguard Agency.”
