Press release -
Is ViewsHound the fastest-growing news site ever?
ViewsHound, the crowdpublished news site that pays daily cash prizes for articles and shares revenue with the authors has announced growth of 1,021% in just three weeks.
The site now has over 3,000 fans on Facebook, and has already published over 600 original articles, photographs and cartoons.
ViewsHound Editor in Chief, Ian Howlett, puts the growth down to a commitment to high quality submissions and a new revenue-sharing agreement with content creators. “We’ve made it very clear that we are a high quality destination site for news, features and opinion, and authors respect that. Our new revenue-sharing agreement, where authors keep 50% of the revenue that their submissions generate, has already had over 100 people sign up for it in just four days, and our authors have responded very positively to it.”
Anyone is welcome to submit articles, photographs or cartoons to be considered for publication on www.viewshound.com, and all users are invited to participate in the revenue sharing agreement.

ViewsHound is revolutionizing the way news-sites operate by crowdsourcing all of their content from writers around the world. Copy-editing, marketing and monetization are also farmed out to the crowd in a collaborative business model called Crowdpublishing. This makes costs variable and avoids the fixed costs that are killing newspapers and magazines. Contributors are rewarded by a daily prize pool and revenue share. For the reader the allure lies in being able to read potentially thousands of great authors from around the world rather than the same tired 20 or so found on a normal news-site.
