The Bathroom in 2024: Time for Feelings

Celebrate life, enjoy the home: In 2024, we are creating all kinds of room for positive feelings at home. That is why we are especially excited about trends that cater to the senses and are good for the soul. Harmonious colours, soft shapes and everything that makes a connection with nature. This can also be seen in the bathroom: Furniture plays with natural materials such as wood and stone, the colours are warm and powerful, and the ceramics discover organic shapes for themselves.

Warm Colours, Soft Shapes

Things are no longer invariably clean and minimalistic in the bathroom in 2024. Everything is getting warmer, softer, cosier. Ceramic colours like Almond and Stone White offer a gentle alternative to brilliant white. Intensive colour accents are also being seen more, especially in rich earth and natural colours like Rust, Bordeaux, Forest or Deep Ocean, like designer Gesa Hansen defined for her washbasin series Artis. When it comes to taps and fittings, new finishes like Brushed Nickel or Brushed Gold create cosiness beyond cool chrome. The right shapes to match: Softly flowing like the Finion and Loop & Friends, gently rounded like Subway 3.0, or organic like with Antao.

Learn from Nature

Interior designers especially like to think of nature when looking for the perfect feel-good environment. So the love of natural materials, shapes and colours remains. Antao by the de-signer duo kaschkasch takes this trend into account with the new ceramic colour Morning Green. Together with the natural furniture materials, such as wood and stone, and the organic design modelled after the dewdrop, the result is an environment inspired by nature in which body and mind are at peace and can regenerate. Wood colours and shades of green can be perfectly integrated in the new bathroom with Subway 3.0 or the Colour on Demand concept for baths as well. Sustainable products, such as the water-saving TwistFlush toilet and smart surfaces like CeramicPlus and Antifingerprint, which save cleaning agents, obviously go along with the nature trend as well.

More is more

It’s hard to believe after years of cool minimalism: The new bathrooms fancy a little opulence – as long as it is not over-loaded or arbitrary. Perfectly matched ceramics, furniture and taps and fittings, as well as high-quality materials such as solid wood, natural stone and TitanCeram offer this little touch of opulence. You can add a little bit more of everything is the overall look is harmonious in this way. Those who want to join the trend towards maximalism prefer dark woods, such as Warm Walnut (Antao), Walnut Veneer (Finion) or wood colours such as Arizona Oak (Subway 3.0) and combine neutral beige and brown shades or powerful colours, depending on their taste. Strong partners include real wood floors, marbled wall and floor tile, as well as geometric patterns. Taps and fittings make for a glamorous accent: Conum by Christian Haas in Brushed Gold or Nickel gives washbasins and free-standing baths a big appearance. The result: Bathrooms that bring beauty and elegance to everyday life – and that simply make you feel good.
