Wales Co-operative Centre appoints Judy Leering as a Director of Corporate Services / Canolfan Cydweithredol Cymru'n penodi Judy Leering yn Gyfarwyddwr

The Wales Co-operative Centre has appointed Judy Leering as its new Director of Corporate Services.

Ms Leering, who was Director of Finance and IT at Chwarae Teg, took up her new role in mid December.

The Wales Co-operative Centre is the country’s leading co-operative and social enterprise development agency. The Centre also works to promote social, financial and digital inclusion through a range of projects.

Judy is a certified Chartered Accountant with over 14 years experience in the third sector. She brings with her a wealth of experience in managing European and Welsh Government programmes as well as IT infrastructure and corporate governance.

Derek Walker, Chief Executive of the Wales Co-operative Centre said, “Judy will be a huge asset to the Centre’s senior management team and will provide the Wales Co-operative Centre with a high level of skills and knowledge to enable us to fulfil our strategic objectives in the years ahead”.

Judy said, “I am delighted to be able to join such a well known and respected organisation. I look forward to working with the staff at the Centre to maximise the impact that its work supporting social businesses and financial and digital inclusion has in Wales”.

Mae Canolfan Cydweithredol Cymru wedi penodi Judy Leering yn Gyfarwyddwr Gwasanaethau Corfforaethol newydd.

Fe gychwynnodd Ms Leering, a oedd yn Gyfarwyddwr Cyllid a TG yn Chwarae Teg, yn ei swydd newydd ganol mis Rhagfyr.

Canolfan Cydweithredol Cymru yw'r asiantaeth datblygu mentrau cymdeithasol fwyaf blaenllaw yn y wlad. Mae'r Ganolfan hefyd yn gweithio i hybu cynhwysiant cymdeithasol, ariannol a digidol trwy ystod o brosiectau.

Mae Judy yn Gyfrifydd Siartredig ardystiedig a chanddi dros 14 mlynedd o brofiad yn y trydydd sector. Mae ganddi brofiad helaeth o reoli rhaglenni a ariennir â chyllid Ewropeaidd a chyllid gan Lywodraeth Cymru yn ogystal ag isadeiledd TG a llywodraethu corfforaethol.

Meddai Derek Walker, Prif Weithredwr Canolfan Cydweithredol Cymru, “Bydd Judy yn gaffaeliad mawr i uwch dîm rheoli'r Ganolfan a bydd yn rhoi lefel uchel o sgiliau a gwybodaeth i Ganolfan Cydweithredol Cymru i'n galluogi i gyflawni ein hamcanion strategol yn y blynyddoedd sydd i ddod”.

Meddai Judy, “Rwyf wrth fy modd i allu ymuno â sefydliad mor adnabyddus ac uchel ei barch. Rwy'n edrych ymlaen at weithio gyda'r staff yn y Ganolfan i gynyddu i'r eithaf yr effaith y mae ei gwaith i gefnogi busnesau cymdeithasol a chynhwysiant ariannol a digidol yn ei chael yng Nghymru".
