To mark a welcome end to an era The Dowling Poole are releasing a five track EP of downloadable tracks. As the title suggests, The Trump Chronicles are all songs on the subject of the idiot tyrant Donald Trump, that stretch from a time predating Trump’s initial run for President, right up until today. We've received several requests for lyrics, so on Bandcamp we've now added the lyrics to the songs for all three of our albums.
British pop group The Dowling Poole has released an acoustic live recording of the song 'Empires, Buildings and Acquisitions', and it's now available as a free download. The full electric version of the song features on the groups critically acclaimed debut album 'Bleak Strategies' which was released in 2014. Also available now, 3 new EP's: 'Deep Breath', 'Miles Checks Out' and 'Bright Spark.'
'Deep Breath' is the latest EP from The Dowling Poole, formed by singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Willie Dowling and Jon Poole. "Let's not beat about the bush here, this song is our inevitable response to the strange new world of Brexit and President Trump", says Willie Dowling. The 'Deep Breath' EP features two live bonus tracks ('A Kiss On the Ocean' and 'Paper, Scissors, Stone).
Two new EP's, 'Miles Checks Out' and 'Bright Spark' from The Dowling Poole are available now. Both EP's feature live acoustic versions of songs taken from the groups debut album 'Bleak Strategies', which was released in 2014. The Dowling Poole are playing live, supporting The Wildhearts at London's o2 Forum Kentish Town on Saturday 17th of December.
Following their critically acclaimed second album ‘One Hyde Park’, which was released earlier this year, The Dowling Poole has just released a new EP, featuring a brand new never heard before song ‘Miles Checks Out’. The EP features bonus tracks ‘Saving It All For A Saturday’ and ‘Getting A Licence’ which were recorded live in Manchester on the band’s acoustic tour in 2015.
