Willie Dowling is playing three UK live dates in May. May 24 - The Red Lion, Chesham. Headlining, as part of the Chesham Fringe Festival. May 25 - Chinnerys, Southend. Supporting David Woodcook & The Fixtures, as part of a two day festival celebrating the Southend Music Scene. May 30 - The Cluny, Newcastle. A special evening, supporting and then playing with Spike of the Quireboys.
Willie Dowling is thrilled to announce that his Invisible Band just became a wee bit more visible. Following successful tours in the UK last autumn, supporting Cats in Space and Quireboys, Willie - on piano and vocals - and long standing collaborator Andy Lewis on bass, will be joined by drummer Darby Todd (Devin Townsend, Kee Marcello, The Darkness) for a headline club tour of the UK in February.

Willie will be performing songs from his new critically acclaimed album of piano led songs; The Simpleton, and perhaps a song or two from his previous bands. "I look forward to returning to some of my favourite venues, and playing in a few places that are completely new to me”.
Willie Dowling’s long awaited new album The Simpleton (369 Music) is available now on CD, to stream, and as a digital download. This autumn Willie Dowling is supporting Cats in Space and Quireboys on their respective UK tours. In February 2025 Willie will be doing a headline tour across the UK.
