The Swedish government has allotted an additional 20 million kronor ($2.9 million) in scholarship funding to help offset tuition fees charged to students from developing countries who want to study at Swedish universities.
“We are extremely pleased that Umeå University continues to be an attractive higher educational institution for international exchange students. Approximately 450 new students are expected to arrive for the start of the autumn term, which is similar to last year,” says Per A. Nilsson, International Office Director.
