NaturePlast compounding trials update

Last week, NaturePlast has made compounding trials with the PHA produced from biowaste in the URBIOFIN Project.

The trials were for mulch film applications. They mixed the PHA produced within the URBIOFIN project with another biopolyester adapted for blown films extrusion and produced the compound.

The next step will be for Leygatech to produce the films in order to demonstrate the industrial feasibility.
