PERSEO, AINIA and BIOMASA PENINSULAR visit to the URBIOFIN Agronomic Essays

PERSEO, AINIA and BPE visited on the 22th and 23th of July, the on-going agronomic essays were is being assessed the potential of the preliminary PHA-based films, microalgae-based hydrolysate and organo-mineral granules obtained in URBIOFIN project for the selected end-user purposes.

In particular, in Murcia, South-East of Spain, were visited the on-going open field agronomic trials on tomato crop by CEBAS-CSIC Research Centre to validate the performance of two preliminary organo-mineral granules produced using the solid fraction of OFMSW digestate in a spouted bed drier system.

Additionally, in CAJAMAR Research Foundation facilities located in Paiporta, Valencia, were visited the on-going validation essays of two semi-transparent PHA-based films as mulch films in watermelon crop and the validation essays of the aminoacid-rich hydrolysate as foliar treatment biostimulant on pomegranate trees.
