Functionalized PEG Gold Nanoparticles (AuNPEGs) with Excellent Resistance Towards Agglomeration
Polypure: By using functionalized PEG derivatives, gold particles can be modified or conjugated to biomolecules to increase the stability. Avidin has been used as a tetrameric multivalent "glue" to demonstrate cluster formation between biotinylated AuNPEGs (Polyethylene glycol coated gold nanoparticles).
