Attana Step II Course

Event date 20 September 2011 – 22 September 2011

Location Stockholm, Sweden

Welcome to Attana Step II Course! Course Introduction The course is designed to increase your understanding of concepts related to molecular interactions. It gives a deeper knowledge of how these concepts can be applied to biosensor assays and provides a sound theory base combined with hands-on computer exercises. It covers topics such as kinetics, mass transport, avidity, cell-based applications and more. In addition, there will be opportunities for you to exchange tips and tricks with other biosensor users. If you are new to the technology, Attana offers a preparatory, basic, hands-on workshop on 20 September 2011. For further enquiries on the Step II Course, please write an email to support@attana.com or call +46 (0) 8 674 57 02.

Attana's collaborator at Gothenburg University, Dr. Sture Lindegren, is interviewed about a possible new cure for ovarian cancers. Using the Attana Cell 200 instrument, Dr. Lindegren and his team are testing antibodies as carriers of radionuclide that target cancer cells directly instead of affecting the whole body as current cancer therapies do.
