BLACK+DECKER™ Debuts Two New 3in1 Stick Vacuums

TOWSON, MD (October 15, 2018) – BLACK+DECKER™ debuts its newest option for cleaning with the 3in1 Stick Vacuums, two compact and convenient choices for housework. With a 24V MAX* version that achieves up to 38 minutes of runtime** and a 20V MAX* version that achieves more than 30 minutes of runtime**, they each feature two power modes and offer powerful cleaning for everyday messes.

Ideal for hardwood floors, rugs and tile, the 3in1 Stick Vacuums have a low-profile design that makes them maneuverable in and around tight spaces and under furniture. They can also be configured in a variety of ways for use beyond standard floor cleaning. By removing each vacuum’s powered head and attaching the user’s preferred nozzle attachment (see included attachments below) to the pole, the 3in1 Stick Vacuums reach ceiling corners, curtains, and clean baseboards. By removing the vacuum’s pole and attaching the powered head, users have a more compact option for vacuuming stairs. Storing the vacuums is also simple; when the vacuum is removed from its pole, it can be hung on a hook incorporated into the pole, allowing it to be stored in tight spaces. This also allows the vacuums to be self-standing, meaning that they don’t required fixed wall-mounts and don’t lean on walls.

The 3in1 Stick Vacuums each feature a large 500ml, easy-to-empty, washable bowl as well as a washable filter for thorough cleaning. Two speeds let the user determine their level of suction, while a state of charge light indicates remaining charge time and when there’s only one minute of available battery power left before the vacuum turns off. In addition, each 3in1 Stick Vacuum features a removable, powered beater bar that is easy to clean.

The 3in1 Stick Vacuums will be available this fall where BLACK+DECKER products are sold. The 24V MAX* 3in1 Stick Vacuum will retail for $129 MSRP, while the 20V MAX* 3in1 Stick Vacuum will retail for $99 MSRP. Both vacuums will come equipped with a 2n1 accessory that is a crevice tool and brush. It attaches to the vacuum with an on-board clip so that it can be stored conveniently and accessed quickly for cleaning crevasses and hard-to-reach spots. A wall outlet charging cable is also included with each vacuum. The 3in1 Stick Vacuums will also come standard with a 2-year limited warranty.

With respect to 20V MAX* - Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.
