Dr. ClauDr. Claudio V. Cerullo Releases New Children’s Book: Isabella Goes to Kindergarten

The term itself…kindergarten…gives us an idea of how exciting and vivid the images are of that time in our life. Kindergarten…the children's garden…whether we think of it as a place where children play in nature's classroom or whether we see images of bright young faces beaming up to the sky like a bouquet of multicolored, flowers drinking up knowledge like sunshine…there is a warmth that fills our hearts when we recall our own first day in kindergarten.

In Isabella Goes To Kindergarten, we are taken on a magical journey that begins with the excitement of this beautiful little girl not being able to sleep the night before to rushing through breakfast, getting dressed and urging her Mommy and Daddy to hurry so that she won't be late. Meeting her new teacher, new friends, and just learning about the adventure of learning fills Isabella's first day. There is an excitement in her voice that captures our hearts and nearly makes us yearn to join her as she begins this new phase of her young life.

What parent has not anticipated, relived, and even to some extent been filled with a sense of profound and permanent change in their lives as they recall the first day of kindergarten of their child? This colorfully illustrated children's book is wonderfully written by Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo, an educator and father, who reveals the depth of his love for his daughter Isabella and his understanding of the value of education as Isabella begins kindergarten.
