Viet Nam Prime Minister's Visit to Nidec Head Office Featured on YouTube Channel of Prime Minister's Office of Japan

On June 8, 2017, Nidec's Head Office in Kyoto, Japan was graced with a visit from his excellency Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, prime minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. During his visit, prime minister Phuc inspected one of the Nidec group’s factories, equipped with state-of-the-art automation technology developed in-house, after meeting with Nidec’s chairman, president & CEO Shigenobu Nagamori at the company’s administrative head office.

On the day of the visit, Nidec announced plans to invest approximately 500 million US dollars in Viet Nam over the coming years in an ongoing effort to respond to the increasing demand for energy efficient high-performance brushless DC motors and other motors for use in high-tech devices such as robots.
