Ovelin Ltd is now Yousician Ltd.
Helsinki, Finland, 20.11.2014 - The Finnish music education company Ovelin Ltd has changed its name to Yousician Ltd.
The name change unifies the company identity with the music education software Yousician, company’s new flagship product. The change is effective immediately.
“The name change marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our company’s journey“, says Yousician CEO Chris Thür. “We began from a children’s iPad guitar learning tool in 2011 and now, as we have expanded our horizons, we are putting our weight behind our revolutionary flagship product Yousician, an all-ages gamified musical learning software on multiple platforms. We believe that musicality can and should be as commonplace as literacy today - and we are here to prove it.”
Yousician’s mission is to make the world a more musical place by making learning to play a musical instrument easy, fun and motivating.
