Shazam Announces Big Game Experience – Watch Exclusive Bruno Mars Tour Video, Download Exclusive Music, Replay and Share All Ads, Interact with Timeline of Key Moments

New York, NY – January 31, 2014 - Shazam®, the world’s leading media engagement company, today unveiled its mobile experience for this Sunday’s Big Game broadcast, including exclusive free downloads and a new timeline feature that means fans won’t miss a minute of the broadcast.  And, for the first time ever, Shazam will recognize all the ads, making it easy for viewers to watch their favorites again and share them on social media.

“The Big Game is always one of the most Shazamed shows on TV and this year we have created an amazing experience for both football and music fans,” said Rich Riley, Shazam CEO.  “Shazam has created an immersive experience around all aspects of the broadcast including the ability to recognize, replay and share all of the amazing ads or go back and see last year’s favorites.”

When people Shazam the Bruno Mars performance, they’ll get exclusive access to a video of his performance of "If I Knew" live from his “Moonshine Jungle” tour in Paris.  This is a video exclusive from Bruno Mars and the only way people can see it is on Shazam.  Plus, fans can also purchase tickets to see Bruno Mars on the next leg of his Moonshine Jungle Tour.

In addition to enabling all ads during the game for replay and sharing, the first ad of the game is for Bud Light’s Cool Twist aluminium bottles and will feature a world premiere release with 500,000 free downloads of Afrojack’s new song, “Ten Feet Tall” for fans 21 years of age and older.*  The new track will not be available for purchase until midnight, so fans of the artist can be the first to get it for free by Shazaming the Bud Light commercial.

British luxury automaker, Jaguar is also offering a special Shazam-enabled Super Bowl experience.  When people Shazam Jaguar’s ‘Rendezvous’ ad, featuring the all-new F-TYPE Coupe, they are taken to an interactive British Villains concept that features recent models, behind-the-scenes videos and more!

Plus, this year all of the ads aired during the game will be recognized by Shazam.  Viewers can Shazam any part of the game to see the ads as they unfold.  Ads from last year’s game will also be available to watch again and share.

Shazam is launching a new Timeline feature that enables viewers to keep up with all the key performances, plays and tweets during the game.  People who use Shazam during the Sunday broadcast will be able to access:

·  Minute-by-minute information of all the key moments of the Broncos/Seahawks matchup,

·  Playlists of the Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers performances;

·  Playlists from the teams’ cities.
