Sweden wins World Cup in Ice Hockey
The 2013 World Cup took place in Sweden and Finland 3rd to 19th of May. The Swedish team after a hesitating start improved their performance during the playoffs. In the final Sweden beat Switzerland with 5 goals to 1 in front of the home crowd in Stockholm.
With some NHL improvements coming in during the tournament the Swedish team were able to clinch the title and players using Bauer Hockey sticks featuring TeXtreme® had a large part in the victory.
