VisiConsult looks back on a successful year 2016

The company VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH has grown rapidly in the last year. The number of employees for example has been doubled and new X-ray systems and solutions have been developed. The company has become established in the market for non-destructive testing worldwide and has even opened its first subsidiary in the US, Atlanta, last summer. But VisiConsult does not only have employees in the US. Also in France and soon in Brasil people work for the company, which is expanding its international sales network.

For its latest innovation, the component counting system XRHCount, VisiConsult received the innovation award of the German-American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago this year. The family company was honored for 'Excellence in Innovation' and is really proud of the award. ‘We did not expect to receive an award so quickly after opening our first subsidiary in the US. We are really proud of the whole team and its effort and get more motivated now to remain one of the global players in X-ray technology’, says Lennart Schulenburg, president of VisiConsult X-ray Solutions Americas Corp in Atlanta. VisiConsult is acting successfully worldwide. This cannot only be seen by the international award they received, but also by their special customer portfolio, that consists of renowned companies from the aerospace and automobile industry.

But VisiConsult is not only international sustainably represented. Also, the regionality and the predicate ‘Made in Germany’ are of high importance for the company. VisiConsult is for example a member of the HanseBelt e.V. and just participated as a showcase exhibitor at the HanseBelt future congress 2016. The topics of the congress were Industry 4.0 and Digitization. It was a great opportunity for the company to get in touch with other companies from around the region and Southern Scandinavia and to be a part of important debates about the future of Industry 4.0 in companies.

For the next year VisiConsult has big aims. The international network should get expanded and of course further innovative X-ray technologies should be developed, so that the company can continue to participate in the market competition. Also, the family-friendly company emphasizes the internal growth process – because the general director Hajo Schulenburg is sure, ‘that the success of VisiConsult is mainly based on its employees and their outstanding teamwork’.
