The Norwegian capital hosts EuroPride 2014 in June, and expects a tremendous party in the streets as well as bars during the 9 day event.
Oslo's streets are full of celebrating people, dressed in their finest national costumes. This year's party is expected to be specactular, attracting royals from all the Scandinavian countries and Norwegians from abroad to celebrate the 200 year Norwegian constitution.
On 26 September 2013, Oslo and Norway will get a brand new sculpture park in a large-scale international format.
In 2014 it will be 200 years since the Norwegian Constitution was signed and numerous events will take place around the country.

After more than a hundred years in winter darkness, the small Norwegian town of Rjukan realises a 100 year old idea which brings the sunshine back to the small town. The dark Norwegian town has gone to desperate measures and installed three giant mirrors to reflect the sun and bring sunshine back down to the town.
6 March 2014, the British Museum brings back the Vikings to Britain, with the biggest attraction being the world’s longest Viking ship ever found, which was built in southern Norway. Norway was the homeland of many of the most famous Vikings coming to shore in the UK, being Erik Bloodaxe or St. Olaf, and is full of Viking treasures.
