Kasper Lyhr takes charge of Visma’s rising star

Kasper Lyhr becomes the first pan Nordic director for Visma’s Public segment, underlining its strong growth and increasing importance to the Visma group.

Visma, a leading provider of mission critical cloud software, announces the appointment of Kasper Lyhr in the newly established position as Segment Director for its Public segment in the Nordic countries.

The Public segment is one of three main business segments in Visma, together with Small & Medium Business (SMB) and Medium and Large Enterprise (MLE).

Lyhr, a Danish citizen, joined Visma in 2020 and comes from the role of managing director for Visma Local Government in Denmark. He will assume his new role during June and report to Steffen Torp, Chief Commercial Officer in the Visma group.

By delivering crucial, time-saving software for both the private and public sectors, Visma aims to contribute to a more efficient and resilient society.

Visma’s Public Nordic segment employs 1,800 people in close to 50 office locations across the Nordics, serving 2,000 customers. The segment achieved revenue of 236 million euros in 2021, representing 11 percent of the group total of 2.1 billion euros.

Visma Public delivers software for financial management (FMS) and payroll, and is a leading provider of school management systems through the products “Flyt Skole” and “InSchool” in Norway and “Wilma” in Finland.

The segment also has a strong position in eGovernment solutions in the Nordics, including First Agenda in Denmark.
