Munich and its 1.5 million inhabitants really like to celebrate summer. Open-air restaurants, music festivals and bathing activities along the Isar river make Germany’s third largest city a real summer hotspot.
Off the Trøndelag coast lies the large island of Hitra. A little further out is the beautiful island of Frøya. A boat ride beyond is the little island community of Mausund, and another boat ride takes you to Vingleia lighthouse, at the mouth of the fjord.

HAGENBECK ZOOPeople have been flocking to Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg for over 100 years. The park is home to 1,860 animals from all corners of the globe, including the largest herd of elephants in Europe. The kids can join in with the feeding of the elephants and giraffes and learn lots of exciting things in the process.
