    If you zoom in on Helgeland on the map, the Træna archipelago appears as a dot, 33 nautical miles due west out in the open sea.

    Off the Trøndelag coast lies the large island of Hitra. A little further out is the beautiful island of Frøya. A boat ride beyond is the little island community of Mausund, and another boat ride takes you to Vingleia lighthouse, at the mouth of the fjord.

    HAGENBECK ZOOPeople have been flocking to Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg for over 100 years. The park is home to 1,860 animals from all corners of the globe, including the largest herd of elephants in Europe. The kids can join in with the feeding of the elephants and giraffes and learn lots of exciting things in the process.
