Yanmar and lille3000 Collaborate on Futurotextiles7

Osaka, Japan (February 7, 2025) - Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. and lille3000, a nonprofit cultural organization based in Lille, France, will hold the exhibition "Futurotextiles 7". The exhibition will showcase a fusion of textile crafts, technology and art, running from April 12 to July 31, 2025, at Nagai Park. The park has been managed by Waku Waku Park Create Co., Ltd., a group company of Yanmar, since April 2021.

Nagai Park, a lush urban park themed around "food, sports, art, and learning," serves as the perfect location to realize lille3000's wish to make art more accessible to everyone, rather than confining it to specialized venues like museums. Yanmar strives to fulfil its the brand statement " A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE - New Value through Technology –," which aligns with the theme of this exhibition, "AMAZING FASHION, DESIGN & ART USE & RE-USE," leading to this collaboration. The exhibition will feature sustainable materials, such as eco-friendly textiles and works created from upcycled items.

Originating from Lille, France, lille3000 created Futurotextiles, a series of exhibitions dedicated to the exploration of textiles. It was established after Lille was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2004. Given that Lille was once a hub for the textile industry, the organization hosts exhibitions around the world, blending the world of textiles, design and art. Following successful participations in the last three world expos in Shanghai in 2010, Milan in 2015 and Dubai in 2021, lille3000 is set to continues its bold exploration of textiles during the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

This exhibition will feature over 60 international creators and companies. Thierry Landron, the president of lille3000, commented, "We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Yanmar and the city of Osaka, for the upcoming Futurotextiles 7 exhibition at the Nagai Park, Osaka. This partnership is essential for lille3000 to radiate and continues its exploration of innovation, fashion design art and crafts, across the world. Initiated in 2006, we are proud to continue this journey in this very promising exhibition.”
