Yanmar Announces KKU Group to join Energy Systems Division

Frankfurt, Germany (March 11, 2019) - Today, Yanmar proudly announces that the Eschenfelder KKU Group has joined the Yanmar Group effective 1st April 2019. Yanmar Energy Systems Co. Ltd (YES) is a group company of Yanmar and a leading force in development, production and distribution of gas engine heat pumps, chiller and cogeneration solutions for the HVAC industry worldwide, while Eschenfelder KKU Group (KKU) specializes in the design, engineering, distribution and installation of resource-saving refrigeration, cooling and heating solutions for trade and industry. KKU Group’s development and manufacturing capabilities enable production of tailormade solutions for complicated situations where standard solutions fall short.

With both parties joining forces, Yanmar is able to strengthen its development activities to further expand tailor made solutions for its customers in Germany and the rest of Europe. By joining Yanmar, KKU ensures its timely access to new technology and sustainable solutions for its active and new customer base.

The new organization will position Yanmar to strengthening its capabilities to offer total HVAC solutions for its customers and further expand its activities in the European market. It also positions KKU to take advantage of further business expansion in the European markets by realizing Pan-European business management optimization.
