Yanmar, Chia Tai and XAG Empower Thai Agriculture through Innovation
Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, Thailand – On May 9, 2025, Yanmar S.P. Co., Ltd. joined Chia Tai Co., Ltd. and XAG Co., Ltd. in the grand opening of the "Chia Tai Experience" at the Chia Tai Agricultural Center in Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. This collaborative initiative aims to elevate Thai agriculture by empowering farmers with cutting-edge technology, advanced knowledge, and sustainable farming solutions.
The Chia Tai Experience serves as a hub for knowledge transfer and technology demonstration, providing farmers with access to modern agricultural practices and innovative machinery. Chia Tai has set up a display and provided guidance on rice farming practices suited to the Bang Nam Priao district through its Crop Management Plan, which is tailored to address specific problems and obstacles in each rice field, along with presenting its solution concept: "From Farmer to Professional Farmer." Meanwhile, XAG has established a certified comprehensive center serving as a maintenance center dedicated to agricultural drones.
Among the highlights of the event was the live demonstration of Yanmar's YR Series rice transplanter, held at the Smart Farm Showcase—an area designed to illustrate Yanmar's transformative role in rice farming.
This significant milestone is part of a broader effort initiated by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Chia Tai Co., Ltd., XAG, and Yanmar S.P. Co., Ltd. Peng Bin, Founder and CEO of XAG; Manas Chiaravanond, CEO of Chia Tai; and Ryosuke Yamaguchi, President of Yanmar S.P. Our collaboration with Chia Tai and XAG represents a unified effort to bring advanced technology directly to the fields, ensuring farmers thrive in an evolving industry."
The Chia Tai Experience builds on the successful collaboration between Yanmar, Chia Tai and XAG, first highlighted during Yanmar’s 45th Anniversary celebrations held from October 3-5, 2024, in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
