Yanmar Renews Sponsorship for the Vietnam National Football Teams

Osaka, Japan (October 12^th, 2021) - Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. has renewed its sponsorship of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Sponsor of the Vietnam National Teams since 2015, in 2016 Yanmar sent turf management experts from Cerezo Osaka, a team Yanmar sponsors in Japan’s top professional J-League, to Vietnam as part of a project to improve the VFF training field. By sharing Yanmar’s expertise and knowledge of grass, Yanmar has been working to improve the official training field, also known as Yanmar Field.

This turf improvement project has contributed to the development of the Vietnamese team by allowing them to train in a better facility, supporting the team’s success in recent years. Many football tournaments are held at Yanmar Field with club teams in the Vietnamese league expressing their admiration of the field. The cooperation of local officials has been instrumental in the success of the project.

Yanmar will continue to partner with the VFF increasing its support to carry out more projects to improve the training facility and strengthen the teams. Furthermore, Yanmar will extend its support to the Women’s national team as well as the Men’s and U-23 national team to further the development of Vietnamese football.

In Japan, Yanmar supports Cerezo Osaka as their top partner, and overseas, the company is also the official sponsor of the Southeast Asian Football Championship, commonly known as AFF Suzuki Cup, which the Vietnam National Team won in 2018.

YANMAR Supports AFF Suzuki Cup 2020

Yanmar has renewed its sponsorship of the AFF Suzuki Cup for the 2020 edition of the tournament making this the company’s third consecutive partnership with Southeast Asia’s biggest football tournament. Following successful events in 2016 and again in 2018, YANMAR will again sponsor the event as 11 ASEAN countries compete for AFF Suzuki Cup from November to December 2020.

Yanmar has signed a Premium Partner Agreement with Red Bull Bragantino, a member of the Brazilian professional soccer league Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, commencing with the 2022/23 season. The partnership will run for two years from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2024.

Yanmar will sponsor Osasco Voleibol Clube, a professional women's volleyball team, based in Osasco, São Paulo, Brazil.
