  • THE FARM TOKYO Opens on Site of Yanmar Tokyo Office

    An exciting dining and recreational space has opened on the site of the Yanmar Offices in Tokyo. With the Yanmar offices that previously occupied the central Tokyo location leveled and slated for reconstruction, THE FARM TOKYO which features a beer garden and bakery café is scheduled to run on the site from April 5th, 2019 to October 31st adding a splash of greenery to the prime location.

  • Yanmar Announces KKU Group to join Energy Systems Division

    The Eschenfelder KKU Group has joined the Yanmar Group effective 1st April 2019. KKU specializes in the design, engineering, distribution and installation of resource-saving refrigeration, cooling and heating solutions for trade and industry. The new organization will strengthen Yanmar's capabilities to offer total HVAC solutions and further expand its activities in the European market.

    Yanmar has released its ground-breaking YM tractor in a grand launch ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand. Scheduled to be deployed progressively from Southeast Asia to the world, the YM is expected to form the backbone of Yanmar’s tractor lineup in the region in the coming years.

  • Yanmar Develops New Industrial Gas Engines

    Yanmar has developed gas-powered industrial engines that utilize LPG (liquid petroleum gas) and meet both U.S. EPA※1 Tier2, CARB※2 Tier4 and EU Stage V emissions regulations. Adding the two clean burning and quiet industrial engine models, 4TN88G: maximum output 45.0kW※3 and 4TN98G: maximum output 63.0kW※3 to its lineup, Yanmar is ready to better meet the diverse needs of its customers.

  • Yanmar Showcases its Comprehensive Diesel and Gas Engine Line-up at BAUMA 2019

    Yanmar will exhibit its all-new gas-powered and diesel-powered industrial engines at BAUMA 2019, over April 8th to 14th. Yanmar will for the first time show its 4TN88G and 4TN98G gas-powered engines, and will be showing its latest entries into the high-power diesel range, up to 155 kW, with the 4TN101 and 4TN107. The workhorse L series of industrial diesel engines will also be shown.

  • Yanmar Establishes New Industrial Engine Plant in India

    Yanmar has announced plans to establish a manufacturing plant in Chennai, India to produce industrial diesel engines. Yanmar Engine Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. will operate the plant from its expected commencement in 2020.

  • Yanmar Launches Precision, High-Density Auto-Rice Transplanter YR8D, A

    Yanmar has developed a diesel-powered high seedling density rice transplanter that utilizes the Group’s proprietary autonomous driving technology for straight-line planting and autonomous operation. The technology is expected to simplify rice seedling planting operations and reduce operator fatigue. The YR8D, A, auto-rice transplanter will go on sale from February 1st, 2019 in Japan.

  • Yanmar Supports Red Bull Foiling Generation

    Yanmar has announced its support of the Red Bull Foiling Generation World Finals to be held November 9 to 11 in Miami, Florida. The competition is a global sailing tournament that gives young sailors the chance to hone their skills through high-performance hydrofoil racing. Open to talented sailors age 16 – 20, the two-person teams from 16 nations will race for victory next month in Miami.
