Yanmar Agri Co., Ltd. has developed deep-planting cultivation technology to improve sugarcane productivity while minimizing environmental impact. This technology was created in collaboration with the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS). Following successful research, Yanmar Agri is now launching full-scale sales of related products.
Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. has completed the acquisition of CLAAS India Private Limited through its group company, Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited, and has changed the company name to Yanmar Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited (YAMIN) effective November 20, 2024.
Yanmar R&D Europe recently participated in an event organized by the International Biochar Initiative (IBI), connecting with global leaders to discuss innovative biochar technologies. From October 16 to 18, participants toured biochar project applications in the vineyards and olive groves of Italy’s Chianti region, showcasing the positive impact of these sustainable practices.
Yanmar will be introducing its “SMARTASSIST” ICT technology platform in Europe, a key component of its world-leading Yanmar Smart Agriculture technologies which are scheduled to be showcased at the world’s top trade fair for agricultural business, Agritechnica 2019.
