Yanmar Co., Ltd. has announced the creation of its latest brand flagship, the X47 Express Cruiser. Scheduled to make its global debut towards the end of 2019, the innovative 47-foot express cruiser is slated to be the Official VIP Cruiser the 36th America’s Cup.

Yanmar will for the first time show its 4TN88G and 4TN98G gas-powered engines, and will be showing its latest entries into the high-power diesel range, up to 155 kW, with the 4TN101 and 4TN107. The workhorse L series of industrial diesel engines will also be shown.
Yanmar has announced plans to establish a manufacturing plant in Chennai, India to produce industrial diesel engines. Yanmar Engine Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. will operate the plant from its expected commencement in 2020.
