Almere, The Netherlands - YANMAR’s well-renowned and popular YDP series (Portable Diesel Water Pumps) has now been re-launched to facilitate water solutions to customers worldwide. Well-equipped with emission-regulated air-cooled Yanmar L series engines, the YDP pumps are heavy-duty, CE certified, and readily available in both recoil and electric starting options.

Yanmar started production of vertical water-cooled engines at its Nagahama factory in 1968 with most production now taking place at the company’s Biwa "mother" factory. With the production of its 10 millionth such engine, Yanmar looks back on this major milestone and will continue to work on development and production of high-quality, highly reliable engines that meet the needs of our customers.
Yanmar will exhibit its all-new gas-powered and diesel-powered industrial engines at BAUMA 2019, over April 8th to 14th. Yanmar will for the first time show its 4TN88G and 4TN98G gas-powered engines, and will be showing its latest entries into the high-power diesel range, up to 155 kW, with the 4TN101 and 4TN107. The workhorse L series of industrial diesel engines will also be shown.
Yanmar has announced plans to establish a manufacturing plant in Chennai, India to produce industrial diesel engines. Yanmar Engine Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. will operate the plant from its expected commencement in 2020.
Yanmar Co., Ltd. has released a list of diesel engines manufactured by the company that are certified for compliance with the European Stage V (EU Stage V) off-road emission standards set to come into effect from 2019.
