Press release -
Mikael Ståhle will make using Yoogaia as smooth as thinking
Mikael Ståhle has been appointed Head of Design for the online yoga service Yoogaia as of March 2015. Ståhle will begin improving its user interface by updating Yoogaia's brand and taking Yoogaia into the mobile field.
"I'm concentrating on improving the user experience. The user's first seconds in the service are the most important ones: the user interface must not steal the show but it has to work smoothly - like thinking."
Ståhle moved over to Yoogaia from Idean, where he worked for five years as Senior Visual Designer. His main work duties were user interface design and the visual look, as well as improving the user experience and company and service identities. Previously, he has worked with many start-ups and consumer services.
In his new role as Yoogaia's 'artistic director', Ståhle is fascinated by acting over a longer time span during which he will be able to have a direct influence on many things.
"I will get a a grasp of the greater whole, in the development of which I can be involved from the beginning. The user and customer experience are at the heart of this kind of service. In a good user interface, the visual aspect and allure are conjoined with smooth operation and ease of use. In a mobile application, you can already get far with clarity of design and taking the user into account," describes Ståhle.
