Press release   •   May 08, 2019 16:01 UTC

BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019 is starpacked, not only with the best teams, but the most fitting music partner for a thrilling tournament as well.

BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019 takes place in Galen Center, Los Angeles on July 12-13.

The global Counter-Strike tournament is coming to the entertainment capital with some of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world and one of this generation's most popular rock bands: Asking Alexandria.

With BLAST's newly announced Season Leaderboard, everything is at stake in Los Angeles.

On July 12-13, for the first time ever the fans in Los Angeles will be able to experience the magnitude of a BLAST Pro Series live event. As always BLAST will bring the iconic stage, massive light and sound set-up and the show that has sold out arenas in Europe and South America, and this time it will be a true “US special” with the very best teams across the Americas!

Team Liquid, who just won IEM Sydney and who is leading the global BLAST Pro Series competition will meet its US-based rivals from Cloud9 and reigning BLAST Miami Champions from FaZe Clan. The three teams competing to win the home crowd will face the very best team from South America: MIBR plus two international top teams yet to be added to the world-class line-up.

The teams for BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019 so far:

  • FaZe Clan
  • MIBR
  • Cloud 9
  • Team Liquid

FaZe Clan are coming to Los Angeles to bring another BLAST trophy home.

The entire season is at stake

The teams will not only battle for their share of the $250,000 prize pool, but the 2019 Season Tournament is also at stake where only the four best teams in the season will go through to the Global Final at the end of the year.

The Season Leaderboard will be affected by the results of the upcoming BLAST Pro Series Madrid tournament played on May 10-11, but currently, both Team Liquid, FaZe Clan and MIBR are on track to reach the Global Finals. For Cloud9 it’s all about getting in the points and start chasing the 4th spot, currently held by MIBR.

Team Liquid resides comfortably on the #1 spot. FaZe Clan’s victory in Miami tied them up with Astralis for #2. Cloud9 has some catching up to do.
