On Sunday afternoon, Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers in Copenhagen sold a case of magnum bottles from the world-renowned French Domaine de la Romanée Conti for a hammer price of DKK 290,000 (€ 50,000 including buyer’s premium), which is a Danish record.

A Rolex wristwatch from the early 1950s achieved a Danish record price at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers Thursday evening, where the price passed a million Danish Kroner and continued all the way to DKK 1,527,500 (€ 205,000) including buyer's premium.

The sale of two small soapstone seals, measuring just 6 and 7 cm in height, went through the roof at the Asian auction in Copenhagen Wednesday afternoon. The price reached DKK 1.1 million (€ 190,000 including buyer’s premium) before the hammer fell, which was more than a hundred times the valuation price of DKK 10,000.

Yesterday, Bruun Rasmussen opened the year's final international auction with the sale of fine art. This included the works by the father of Danish painting, C. W. Eckersberg. His paintings went for a combined hammer price of DKK 4,400,000. One of the paintings was purchased by the National Gallery of Denmark for a hammer price of DKK 2.1 million.
