The Essbox Mini is here!

Essve launches Essbox Mini – the next generation of the smash hit packaging system Essbox, which took the Nordic market by storm in 2012. The new Essbox Mini case measures only 60 percent of the original Essbox case and has been developed as a direct answer to the increased demand from professional craftsmen for a smaller version. The Essbox Mini will be available in European markets as of April 2017.

The new version of the popular Essbox case combines all the great qualities associated with the original, but now in a smaller format. According to Essve’s research, nine out of ten users of the Essbox Original have asked for a slimmer solution. The size of the new Essbox Mini makes it very useful not only for builders but also for a whole new range of users, such as electricians, plumbers, painters and facility managers.

– The close contact with professional craftsmen and our attention to their needs and wishes is central to all of our product development. The response we experienced with the Essbox Original was straightforward – it is extremely popular, however many have requested a smaller version. And that is why we have developed the Essbox Mini, a smaller and nimbler packaging solution that meets the initial demand head on. At the same time, the Essbox Mini is made more relevant for other professional user groups, says Mattias Sebell, Global Marketing Manager, Essve.

Essve’s packaging solution Essbox System was launched in February of 2012 and quickly became a roaring success amongst Nordic craftsmen. The solution was developed to facilitate the management and storage of screws and other fastening products. A durable case designed with an octagonal pattern at the bottom secures hard plastic boxes, even when the Essbox is not filled to max capacity. The inside of the case lid is fitted with a foam lining which makes sure that the content of the individual screw box is kept in the box during bumpy transports. The Essbox, with its excellent management qualities for small components, proved to be a recipe for success with over 200 000 units sold in the Nordic market.

The new Essbox Mini has an adjustable lid which can be fixed in two different positions, facilitating packing and unpacking, and it has been given a handle lined with rubber for comfortable carrying to and from the worksite.

– Essbox Original instantly became extremely popular with professional users. The success also generated a big value for all resellers and many could show almost double turnover within the fastening segment following the launch, says Mattias Sebell and continues:

Essbox Mini is a part of the Essbox System, a smart packaging solution for fastening products. The system consists of two durable casings (the Original and the Mini) and transparent individual hard plastic product packaging. It has been developed to enable structure and order, to facilitate and make the professional workday more effective, as well as to reduce waste.

Essbox Mini is 435 mm wide, 366 mm tall and 108 mm deep. The cases can be stacked on top of each other and smart storage solutions for cars and transport are available with a capacity for either four or seven cases.
