Fjällräven AKKA DOME tent - Product of the Year 2010

Fjällräven’s new dome tent Akka Dome received the “Product of the Year” award from Sweden’s largest outdoor magazine Utemagasinet.  “With Akka Dome we have solved the common issue of minimum apse space” says Fjällräven’s Hardware Development Manager Henrik Andersson.

Every year Sweden’s largest outdoor magazine Utemagasinet and their test team put hundreds of outdoor products to the test. At the end of the year the “Product of the Year” is announced and this year the award goes to Fjällräven’s tent AKKA DOME,  Fjällräven’s new dome tent.

”Akka Dome is a favourite because it is spacious, it withstands wind, has good ventilation and has a relatively low weight.”

“We are really proud of the Akka Dome tent,” says Fjällräven’s Hardware Development Manager Henrik Andersson, “With Akka Dome we have solved the common issue of minimum apse space by having two generously sized vestibules and two entrances.”
