Fjällräven AKKA ENDURANCE - Product of the Year 2013
Fjällräven continues to receive awards for its tents. This time it is the new tent Akka Endurance that has been awarded “Product of the Year” by the test team from Sweden’s largest outdoor magazine Utemagasinet
Every year Sweden’s largest outdoor magazine Utemagasinet and their test team put hundreds of outdoor products to the test. In 2010, Fjällräven’s Dome tent Akka Dome won the prestigious “Product of the Year” award and Fjällräven’s Hardware developers can now be proud of another great achievement as Fjällräven’s improved tunnel tent Akka Endurance has been awarded “Product of the Year 2013”“We are really proud of this development,” says Henrik Andersson, Hardware Product Development Manager at Fjällräven. “The Endurance Series consists of strong and wind stable tents designed for a high level of safety in the mountains, all year round.”

In 1960 Åke Nordin founded Fjällräven in his basement in the town of
Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden. Today our timeless, functional and durable
outdoor equipment enjoys a global presence and can be found in over 23
countries. The collection comprises outdoor clothing for men and women,
backpacks, tents and sleepingbags.
As a company we put a lot of focus on acting
responsible towards other humans, animals and nature and sustaining public
interest in the outdoors. The two largest outdoor events we organize are
Fjällräven Classic and Fjällräven Polar who attracts thousands of people.
Fjällräven is a part of the Fenix Outdoor Group. The Group net sales was
1 725,4 MSEK in 2012.
