January 16 marks the first of our annual themed menu weeks at the Veranda restaurant. As in previous years, first up is the Västerbotten buffet, offering a host of traditional dishes and accoutrements from the region.
The Västerbotten buffet features wild game, arctic char and the famous Västerbotten cheese of course.
Since 1991, guests at the Veranda restaurant have been able to enjoy deliciously prepared dishes from one of Sweden’s most well-known culinary regions. A region that immediately brings to mind the classic Västerbotten pie, a delicacy that has taken its rightful place in Swedish culinary tradition and which is naturally on the Veranda’s menu.
“Through the years, gastronomy from Västerbotten has given us fantastic taste experiences and I am delighted that year after year we showcase such fantastic regional specialties at the Veranda,” says Pia Djupmark, CEO, Grand Hôtel.
The Västerbotten buffet is served between January 16 and February 7 at the Veranda.
