Readers of Condé Nast Travelers choose Grand Hôtel

For the 30th year in a row, the influential travel and lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveler asked its readers to rank the best hotels in the world. Among the 130 hotels in 40 countries to win a place on the list, the Grand Hôtel was the only hotel in Sweden to make the cut.

Conde Nast Travelers’ readers have had their say in this year’s Readers’ Choice Award. The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm is the only hotel in Sweden to meet their high expectations, thereby winning a place on this coveted list.

The readers agree that fast service, silk bath robes and flower arrangements, combined with the hotel’s lavishly decorated turn-of-the-century building, all add star quality to the visit. They also emphasise that the Grand Hôtel Nordic Spa & Fitness’s Nordic Bathing Ritual, featuring cold baths and hot saunas and detox treatment is not to be missed.

Our top priority is to give guests the best visit possible,” says Pia Djupmark, CEO, Grand Hôtel. "The Readers’ Choice Award is a very important list for travellers and the hospitality industry alike. We are delighted and proud to be the only Swedish hotel on the list."
