LINK arkitektur AS is one of the leading architect offices in Scandinavia, with a pan-Nordic presence in major cities and regions in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The company has a strong track record on returns, driven by steady growth on the basis of a solid financial position. LINK arkitektur represents an excellent strategic fit for Multiconsult, offering the potential for significant value creation through operational synergies as well as further strengthened value proposition to customers. Stronger ties and enhanced cooperation will enable Multiconsult and LINK arkitektur to jointly meet the growing demand from both the public and private sector for integrated engineering and architect consultancy services.

“I am very pleased to see that after several years of cooperation and part ownership, Multiconsult has decided to include architecture as an important part of its service offering. The market for architect services in the Nordic countries is changing rapidly with growing demand for quality, competence and capacity. Several companies in this business have established presence across the region, including Norway, Sweden and Denmark, considering the Nordic region as their home market. We see great opportunities to continue and further strengthen LINK arkitektur as one of the leading architect offices in the Nordic region, driven by a single owner with strong impact” says Rolf Maurseth, acting managing director of LINK arkitektur.

Multiconsult intends to maintain LINK arkitektur as a separate brand within the Multiconsult group, organized as a wholly owned subsidiary, fully consolidated in group financials.
LINK arkitektur recorded total revenues of NOK 361.2 million and net profit of NOK 14.7 million in 2014. LINK arkitektur has approximately 200 employees in Norway, 150 employees in a fully owned subsidiary in Sweden and 5 employees in a Danish subsidiary.

The board of directors of LINK arkitektur currently consists of Trond Dahle (chair), Christian N. Madsen, Geir Odd Målsnes, Svein K. Halleraker, Magnus Meyer, Liv-Kristine Rud (employee elected), Erlend Rudjord (employee elected). The acting managing director of LINK arkitektur is Rolf Maurseth.

LINK arkitektur is one of the leading architect offices in Scandinavia, in terms of turnover, the number of employees and the number of projects completed annually. As a business model and philosophy, LINK has chosen to let our 14 offices with approximately 350 employees in Norway, Sweden and Denmark create their own culture and specialist fields. There are many opportunities created by having offices geographically close to you. At the same time, all the expertise in our system is permanently available. This means that you as a customer can benefit from the local knowledge of your nearest LINK office, with all the possibilities that this entails: We guide projects through the local bureaucracy in the most effective way possible, we ensure efficient and personal follow-up and we have personnel that are knowledgeable about the surroundings and the local property market. In addition to construction architecture, we also have wide and accessible expertise in planning, landscaping, interiors and the maritime/offshore sector. Due to our structure and the opportunities it provides for cooperation between offices, we always have the capacity to accept both large and small projects in residential and commercial buildings, transport, industry, urban development, public buildings, sports facilities, health care and education/research facilities. We have extensive experience in all of these categories.
