Now it´s Finland and the Finnish National Culinary Team's turn to match the 899 flavours that can be found in one cup of coffee, and they have decided to outclass the Swedes' menu.
- We are happy that the Swedish National Culinary Team warmed up for us, but now it’s about time for people in Stockholm to get a real flavour experience, says Samuel Mikander from the Finnish National Culinary Team.
Match the 899 flavours of coffee with a menu of ten servings. The Swedish National Culinary Team accepted that challenge, and Löfbergs Stockholm turned into a pop-up fine dining restaurant on 15 October 2015. The success was a fact, and now the challenge has moved on to the Finnish National Culinary Team that on 10 March invites 60 guests to a flavour experience at Löfbergs on Kungsgatan 3 in Stockholm.
- There are closer to 900 dimensions of flavour in a single cup of Löfbergs, twice as many as in wine. We now know that the very best Swedish chefs managed to match this flavour experience brilliantly, and we are excited to see how Finland will take on this challenge, says Lena Rodin, marketing manager at Löfbergs.
The unique dinner is open for the public. Every cover is SEK 1,899 and includes ten servings with pre-chosen wine and coffee.
