Estonian Air - New Aviation Customer for Merit

Merit Consulting Sweden continues to increase it's presence in the aviation industry, this time with the airline company Estonia Air. With Estonian Air as a new customer, Merit will take over support and management for a MRO system named Aura, a product from the US Company Miro.

Estonian Air was founded in 1991. Estonian Air is owned by the Estonian state and the SAS Group. Estonian Air is a member of IATA (the International Air Transport Association) since 1992. Estonian Air’s home base is Tallinn Airport. In 2012 the airline carried altogether 887 563 passengers, out of which 886 003 on regular flights. Estonian Air employs around 200 people.

SAS outsources the operation of its aircraft maintenance system to Merit Consulting.

SAS and Merit Consulting have entered into an outsourcing agreement. Merit is taking over the operation of Infor M3, which is SAS' current system for aircraft maintenance. Concomitant with this, four SAS employees stationed in Oslo and Stockholm will be going over to Merit.

Optimera Skodborg a part of Saint Gobain Distribution Denmark is live with M3 13.1

In September 2013, Merit and Optimera Skodborg (a part of Saint Gobain Distrubution Nordic) had a kickoff on the new implementation of M3 13.1. On January 5th 2015 the implementation successfully went live according to the time schedule. The project was called ALFA3 and is the first step of the Danish version of the common Saint Gobain Distribution Nordic project called Galileo.
