I dag lanserer GSI en interaktive bærekraftsrapporten for å markere verdens miljødag. Rapporten setter en ny standard for transparent rapportering i den globale matvarebransjen, og viser at GSIs medlemmer jobber aktivt med å stadig forbedre bærekraften i sin drift.
Cermaqs årlige bærekraftseminar ble holdt 3. juni på Litteraturhuset i Oslo. Presentasjonene og opptak av foredragene finner du her.
Blant foredragsholderne er adm.dir. i Norges Sjømatråd, Terje Martinussen, som vil presentere ferske tall fra den årlige forbrukerundersøkelsen Seafood Consumer Insight/SCI.
Toppsjefen i Mitsubishi Corporation, Ken Kobayashi, møtte statsminister Erna Solberg i Oslo i dag. Kobayashi brukte anledningen til å understreke Mitsubishi Corporations langsiktige engasjement i Cermaq.
Cermaqs integrerte års- og bærekraftsrapport for 2014 ble offentliggjort i dag, og viser at Cermaq viderefører sitt engasjement for åpenhet i oppdrettsnæringen. I tillegg til finansiell informasjon, inneholder rapporten en rekke resultatindikatorer og beskriver hvordan selskapet håndterer temaer knyttet til bærekraft.
Årets bærekraftseminar arrangeres 3. juni kl. 8.30 - 12 på Litteraturhuset i Oslo.
Cermaq støtter sentrale punkter i FHLs uttalelse, og mener at det også bør stilles krav om sporing av fisken og om rømmingshistorikk til selskaper som skal få øke sin produksjon.
