Goodtech, in connection with its proven Portabulk® technology, has consolidated its position as a preferred supplier of bulk-bag handling systems through the establishment of a new supply contract with Borealis, a major provider of polyolefins and fertiliser products throughout the world.
In conjunction with a previously established supply contract for the fully-automated filling and handling Borealis’ fertiliser products, Goodtech has been contracted to supply an integrated conveyance and downstream handling system for filled Portabulk® bulk bags. Goodtech will also supply electrical and automation systems, as well as engineering, project management and final commissioning of the equipment package.
Goodtech’s CEO Eric Staurset: "We are very pleased that Borealis selected Goodtech, and we are looking forward to help Borealis becoming even more efficient with this solution."
The contract value is about NOK 20 million.
The project will start immediately and is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2019.
