World Naturopathic Federation har sendt brev til helse- og omsorgminister Høie, med henvisning til WNFs utredning Role of Naturopathic Practice in a Pandemic som ble laget med tanke på politiske beslutningstakere for å informere dem om forskning på naturterapi og hvilken rolle naturterapeutisk praksis kan ha for å forebygge og håndtere forhold som ligner på COVID-19.

World Naturopathic Federation (WNF) er den globale stemmen for naturterapi og representerer over 80 naturterapeutiske organisasjoner og utdanningsinstitusjoner som spenner over alle verdensregioner. Målet med WNF er å øke bevisstheten om naturterapi og å markere verdien av naturterapi som et behandlingssystem for alle.

Vedlagt finner du WNFs utredning Role of Naturopathic Practice in a Pandemic. Dokumentet ble laget med tanke på politiske beslutningstakere for å informere dem om forskning på naturterapi og hvilken rolle naturterapeutisk praksis kan ha for å forebygge og håndtere forhold som ligner på COVID-19.

Utredningen bygger på WNFs vitenskapelige rapporter som er skrevet med hjelp fra over 40 naturterapeutiske forskere og utøvere fra hele verden. De peker på forskning som kan underbygge bruk av naturterapeutiske metoder under behandling av øvre luftveisinfeksjoner.

WNFs medlemmer består av nasjonale naturterapeutiske organisasjoner med høye utdanningsstandarder. Norske Naturterapeuters Hovedorganisasjon er assosiert medlem i WNF.

The World Naturopathic Federation (WNF), the global voice of naturopathy, represents over 80 naturopathic organizations and educational institutions spanning all world regions. The goal of the WNF is to increase awareness of naturopathy and to highlight the value of naturopathy as a system of medicine for all people.

Attached you will find the WNF White Paper - Role of Naturopathic Practice in a Pandemic. This document was created for policymakers to inform them of the research and the role that naturopathic practices can have on the prevention and management of conditions similar to COVID-19.

The WNF White Paper - Role of Naturopathic Practice in a Pandemic references WNF facilitated Rapid Reviews. The reviews were written with the help of over 40 naturopathic researchers and practitioners from around the world. They outline the research to support the consideration of naturopathic therapies in the management and treatment of upper respiratory tract infections. Members of the WNF include national naturopathic organizations with the highest educational standards in their country. Norske Naturterapeuters Hovedorganisasjon is the Associate Member representing naturopathic practitioners in Norway.
