Ideas become reality in Linköping – Plantagon’s Greenhouse now one step closer to construction start

The zoning is now finalized in Kallersta by Linköping municipality. The zoning includes industrial and office operations, and an integrated greenhouse and office building by Plantagon International. This is an important step forward for the world’s first industrial vertical greenhouse.

- we are of course very happy that the zoning is ready and the building permit phase can continue as planned. There is great international interest for our greenhouse that integrates sustainable systems for growing, energy solutions and recycling. We are therefore very proud of having the first greenhouse of this type being built in Linköping, says Hans Hassle, CEO of Plantagon International.

Besides the greenhouse for integrated vertical farming, the building will also include office spaces, Plantagon International’s headquarters as well as a research center for urban agriculture. Additional land space within the zoning is planed to include industry and office operations, car service and storage.
