International fashion debut
Stockholm has long been an incubator of creativity and style. And also an influencer in creative thinking and innovation. Now 12 graduates from Stockholm-based Beckmans College of Design make their first appearance on the international fashion scene with a show and performance in the heart of Montmartre during Paris Fashion Week.
The 12 emerging fashion talents have created an event that will showcase parts of their graduation collections in a live show as well as in film and photography. An open backstage area will provide a scene to meet the students, look at their collections and view their portfolios.
Time: Thursday 29 September 6PM – 1AM
Live presentation at 8PM, 9PM & 10PM
Open backstage / showroom 7 – 11PM
Location: Le Bar à Bulles de La Machine du Moulin Rouge

Final course of the BA Program in Fashion
The graduation project at Beckmans College of Design is the final course of the BA Fashion Program - a one term course where the students develop and explore their own identity as fashion designers. By articulating and managing their own projects, they are able to express their personal interests and convictions, as well as use the methods and the form that they want to develop. Please find more information about the collections at beckmans.se

About Beckmans College of Design
The Beckmans College of Design was founded in 1939 by the advertising executive Anders Beckman and the fashion illustrator and pattern designer Göta Trägårdh. They wanted to create an independent art college for advertising and fashion. In 1992 the Design course was launched.
In 2003, the college became an approved examining body with full government funding, under the name of Beckmans Designhögskola/Beckmans College of Design. Artistic and theoretical basic training, an intense creative pace, a social awareness, professionally active teachers, frequent guests and interdisciplinary collaborations are the main focus of the college. Urgent social, global and environmental issues, sustainability, economics and the arts permeate the entire curriculum. The Beckmans College of Design is committed to a humane and multicultural perspective on society.
