Double trouble from MÄRVEL! / Dubbelt trubbel från MÄRVEL!

Mitt i den varmaste högsommaren, den 15 augusti, dräper Märvel till med den tredje installationen, i sin första triptyk av singlar, ifrån kritikerrosade "Hadal Zone Express". Och vi ska ner igen. Allihopa. Paradoxalt nog är det rakt ner i helvetet. Men ett kallt och ett vackert helvete, som visar både sin finaste melankoliska melodisida och sina bästa bredbenta metallposer. Som ett iskallt njurslag kommer titelspåret från albumet och dämpar allas värmedelerium, och levererar samtidigt en utsökt dos av powerpop-doftande rock´n´roll med ekon från såväl 70-talets mest melodistinna chock-rock, som 60-talets finaste soulstunder.

Som b-sida får vi ta del av tidigare outgivna "Ain't Gonna Last", ett spår inspelat i samma session som albumet och som bär på samma klassiska Märvel-signum som resten av plattan.

Två för priset av en, vem kan motstå? Alla på? Dags för avgång!

In the midst of summer, August 15:th, Märvel hits you with the third deployment, in their first triptych of singles from the critically acclaimed “Hadal Zone Express”. And we’re going down again. All of us. Paradoxically it’s straight down to hell. But a cold and beautiful hell, that shows of both its finest melancholic and melodic side and the very best of its astride metal poses. As an ice cold blow to the kidney comes this title track from the album to soothe everybody’s heat delirium, and at the same time it delivers an exquisite dose of powerpop-scented rock’n’roll with echos from both the 70’s melody packed chock-rock as and the finest soul moments of the 60’s.

On the b-side we find the previously unreleased “Ain't Gonna Last”, a track that was recorded in the same sessions as the album and shares that classic Märvel signature sound with the rest of the songs.

Two for the price of one, who can resist? All on board!

Both singles are of course available on Spotify, iTunes and all the other relevant non physical download and streaming sites. "Hadal Zone Express" is also available on YouTube in the shape of a video made by Hugo, Albin och Cliff.

MÄRVEL support på Dregens soloturné i Skandinavien! / MÄRVEL support on Dregen's solo tour in Scandinavia!

Sadorockbandet MÄRVEL från Linköping öppnar på Dregens Skandinavienturné. Med anledning av Gustaf II Adolfs dödsdag 1632 startar spektaklet den 6:e nov i Finland. MÄRVEL släppte sitt tredje album 2011 och fin rotation på P3 och europaturné följde. Bandet drog sig sedan undan. Dolda av östgötska fält av raps och salix har de växt sig större och hårdare och album nummer fyra väntar runt hörnet.

Först ut från en kommande platta i höst är singeln "The Hills Have Eyes" med tillhörande video. En perfekt storm av själfulla harmonier, popackord och sjuttiotalsgrooves. First out of the stable before a new album this fall, is the single and video "The Hills Have Eyes", a perfect storm of soulful harmonies, pop chords and seventies grooves. It will be released May 29.th.

Dregen and MÄRVEL steamrollered Scandinavia - tourmovie online now!

November 2013, following the release of his debut solo album and book, DR3G3N started his first ever solo tour in Scandinavia with MÄRVEL as support on all ten shows. DR3G3N and his band travelled in "Svarta Faran" and MÄRVEL and Papa Bear in their "Fortress Of Rock On Wheels" bringing rock n' roll to souls in need of real music. MÄRVEL's "The Hills Have Eyes" single and video out now!

Today MÄRVEL release the first punch in the face from the forthcoming album with the same name, "The Hills Have Eyes". The video was premiered today on Aftonbladets Musikbloggen, and the single is available worldwide on all digital platforms you can think of. "This is the earworm the summer of 2015 have been waiting for." says label man Björn "Papa Bear" Rallare.

2015 - The Last Year Of The Cobra

I see the future. And the future tells me that 2015 will be the last year of the Swedish indie label Killer Cobra Records. Three more planned releases on Killer Cobra Records and then I'm out. The forthcoming releases are EP's from MÄRVEL and La Fleur Fatale and Stevie Klasson's Black Weeds debut album. All in 2015.

MÄRVEL har nominerats till årets GAFFA-pris i kategorin ROCK. Priset har funnits sedan 2010 och det är GAFFAs läsare som röstar fram sina favoriter, det betyder att DU kan rösta. The Swedish rock band MÄRVEL have been nominated for the Swedish music magazine GAFFA's music award in the ROCK category. The award was founded 2010 and its the readers who vote which means YOU decide.
