2015 - The Last Year Of The Cobra

It all started in 2006 when the MÄRVEL guys asked me to become their manager, simply because I had ideas I guess and wasn't already bitter from working in the music business. Maybe I had new ways to tackle problems with and could find new strange paths still uncharted. 

Looking back at it all I believe I actually did, and most of all I had a lot of Fun doing all those things (tours all over Europe, full rigger festival transportation, filming documentary in California and whatnot) with both very good friends and other bands I decided to help out a bit. Over time tho it kind of grew into a time consuming non-profit making monster, you know the worst kind of monster, and had to scale down a bit to make my life work.

For many years I did have true hope that one day I might succeed in actually breaking through with at least one band simply because they deserve it, so I could resign with dignity. I always worked with my heart because I really believed in the bands and what I did and I knew the bands were better than most others but finally my heart was indeed defeated. It was so by the business of course and many of you will probably understand what I'm talking about and some of you will not.

I just wanted to say that I'm signing out soon. Three more planned releases on Killer Cobra Records and then I'm out. I have spent many hours, days and weeks having Fun - but I have also spent many hours, days, weeks being frustrated working for free running uphill and against the wind - time I will never get back and I'm no longer willing to pay that price. I will naturally spend more time with my family and I will work even more with graphics because I'm really fucking good at it.

I'd like to thank the bands immensely that I've helped for believing in me. And from the the bottom of my heart thank you to all the wonderful people I've met out there that have truly made it worthwhile.

Thank you for the music, I'm gonna do all I can to make 2015 a year to remember.

Now they release the 1:st video, "Danish Rush". I slutet av mars släppte bandet MÄRVEL sitt fjärde album "Hadal Zone Express" som tagits mot med öppna armar av recensenter världen över. Nu släpper de första videon, "Danish Rush".

  • New album from MÄRVEL! / MÄRVEL släpper nytt album!

    28 Mars släpper MÄRVEL sitt 4:e album, Hadal Zone Express. Det har beskrivits av gitarristen och sångaren, The King, som hans tolkning av “Highway To Hell”. Spänn fast nitbältet! March 28:th MÄRVEL will release their 4:th album, Hadal Zone Express. It has been described by guitarist and singer, The King, as his own version of “Highway To Hell”. Buckle up, we ́re going down. Deep down. Fast.

  • MÄRVEL support på Dregens soloturné i Skandinavien! / MÄRVEL support on Dregen's solo tour in Scandinavia!

    Sadorockbandet MÄRVEL från Linköping öppnar på Dregens Skandinavienturné. Med anledning av Gustaf II Adolfs dödsdag 1632 startar spektaklet den 6:e nov i Finland. MÄRVEL släppte sitt tredje album 2011 och fin rotation på P3 och europaturné följde. Bandet drog sig sedan undan. Dolda av östgötska fält av raps och salix har de växt sig större och hårdare och album nummer fyra väntar runt hörnet.

  • Ebbot Lundberg guest on new single from La Fleur Fatale

    La Fleur Fatale som i våras figurerade i dokumentären The Second Wave som spelades in i Kalifornien förra året släpper ny singel, “Beautiful Stranger”, där Ebbot Lundberg (TSOOL) gästar. Swedish indie band La Fleur Fatale that earlier this year appeared in the documentary The Second Wave release a new single “Beautiful Stranger”, where Ebbot Lundberg (TSOOL) contributes with his amazing voice.

  • Premiere of The Second Wave on May 2:nd - a Swedish indie music documentary! / Premiär för The Second Wave den 2:e maj - en svensk indie-musikdokumentär!

    Spring 2012 the Swedish band La Fleur Fatale spent two weeks on a roadtrip in California. Led on a journey filled with gigs, meeting with legends and looking for answers to questions that needed to be asked. It premieres online May 3:rd with support from Classic Rock Magazine, GAFFA, Steve Clayton USA and Sound Polluton and at the same time they release a new single written by Duncan Faure.

  • Svenskt indie-skivbolag får uppmärksamhet i UK!

    Linköpingsbaserade indie-skivbolaget Killer Cobra Records lyfts fram av den ledande musiktidskriften Classic Rock Magazine i november. Scott Rowley som är chefsredaktör för tidningen säger att labeln är "...one of rock's most interesting independent labels." Detta innebär att de distribuerar 10.000 exemplar av en CD med fyra låtar från lika många band från labelns roster.

  • Dregen and MÄRVEL steamrollered Scandinavia - tourmovie online now!

    November 2013, following the release of his debut solo album and book, DR3G3N started his first ever solo tour in Scandinavia with MÄRVEL as support on all ten shows. DR3G3N and his band travelled in "Svarta Faran" and MÄRVEL and Papa Bear in their "Fortress Of Rock On Wheels" bringing rock n' roll to souls in need of real music. Online now is a 8 minute window into this trip. You should see it.

  • The Second Wave screening and La Fleur Fatale show at Roky Erickson's afterparty!

    Lördag kväll den 18 maj är det en exklusiv visning av The Second Wave och en halvakustisk spelning med La Fleur Fatale på efterfesten till Roky Ericksons gig på Debaser Medis i Stockholm. On May 18:th, there will be a screening of the documentary The Second Wave and a half acoustic gig by La Fleur Fatale at the afterparty of the legendary Roky Erickson's show at Debaser Medis in Stockholm.
